We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Accountant to join our team; an excellent communicator who accurately manages the finance and accounting functions of the business, you will oversee all aspects and ensure a seamless accounting function. You will have one direct report who will support you with the financial endeavours of the business.

You will be providing business insights, performance analysis, and reporting to key stakeholders. You will take responsibility for financial and budget reporting, cashflow management, and the preparation of monthly, and annual accounts alongside our external accountant. We are searching for a positive and process focused individual with excellent attention to detail.

• assist in the development, implementation, and communication of the brand merchandise planning strategy to maximise profitability and gain market share
• assist financial planning and Provide direction to consequent product planning and inventory management process
• manage core and seasonal flow of stock to all sales channels in order to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve margins, optimize inventory and reduce markdowns
• meticulously manage Company OTB that maintains optimum stock requirements throughout trading periods
• develop and manage the seasonal Multi channel buying plans for sign off
• develop and maintain sound Inventory Management and Supply Chain
• processes, KPI’s and reporting, to ensure ‘right product at the right time and at the right place
• produce accurate and timely Weekly, Month and End of Seasonal reports to help the management make clear and concise actions
• provide leadership, support, coaching and regular feedback to enable all staff to effectively perform their role and meet their potential

• Previous Experience as an Accountant
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant finance qualification
• Good understanding of processes and accounting controls
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to organise your own workload and others prioritising accordingly in a fast-paced retail environment
• A genuine team player who works collaboratively
• Excellent experience in a variety of software specifically Xero, Microsoft Office - Excel and Word and preferable but not essential Ontempo
• Be passionate about sustainability and ethical production
